About

Diverse, permanently affordable housing for Teton Valley.

That is our mission. Teton County, Idaho and the Cities of Driggs, Victor, and Tetonia created the Housing Authority in 2016 under Idaho Code Title 50, Ch. 19 and Title 31, Ch. 42, and seated the first Commission in 2019.

The Commission

Seven volunteer Commissioners serving five-year terms: two appointed each by Teton County, Driggs, and Victor, and one by Tetonia. Officers are elected each January. Vacancies are announced on the News page.

History

A decade of groundwork

2014Teton Regional Housing Needs Assessment documents the shortage.
2016Teton County and the cities of Driggs, Victor, and Tetonia create the Housing Authority by joint resolution.
2019Affordable Housing Strategic Plan adopted; the first Commission is seated.
2022Depot Square completed: 34 homes over retail in downtown Driggs, 30 of them income-restricted.
2024Jerod Pfeffer hired as Executive Director; Signal West Housing Task Force convened.
2026175 Front Street breaks ground July 17; Teton Valley Housing named QWHIP Authorized Administrator for the City of Driggs.
